Ever seen a real spongey pound cake that was juicy, soft, smooth and fine as well? It upgrades your cake taste experience to a hole new level. This cake is absoloutely an all time favourite! You can get creative and add any ingredient you like or have on hand! It is a perfect basic recepie, easy to make and you will succeed everytime you bake this one.

INGREDIENTS:

2 large eggs

260g flour of choice

170g-200g sugar (depending on how sweet you want your cake to be, whether and which topping/glace you want to use)

1 TSP vanilla extract

15g baking powder

280g yoghurt

150g tasteless oil of choice

100g chocolate, nuts, fruit (fresh or dried and laid-in) + 2 TBSP flour

for example: banana-walnut, cherry-almond, orange-chocolate,....

INTRODUCTIONS:

Whisk your eggs until they some foam occurs. Add sugar and vanilla extract and whisk again. Then add oil and yoghurt. Combine all ingredients. After that mix the baking powder and flour together and gently fold them in. Mix 2 TBSP flour with your chocolate, nuts, fruit (prevents these ingredients from sinking to the bottom of your cake tin) and add them to the batter and fold them in as well. Fill the mixture in a cake tin (you don't have to oil it because this cake won't stick to the cake tin) and bake in your oven (preheated to 160°C) for about 50 minutes. Let it cool completely before removing it from he tin. Add any glace you like (chocolate icing is perfect) or just sprinkle some powdered sugar (not melting "sweet snow" is even better) on top and ENJOY!
